Congratulations to: The Lefevre Family - Daisy / The Chase Family - Ginger / The Hatch Family - Peanut / The Blanchard Family - #2 Buck, on their new babies! The are now home with their families and getting loved very much! I'm also loving all the pics and updates with these kits!! It brings a lot of joy to my heart and my family also to see that they are in loving home and are very much loved! I shared some pics of the kits the families have shared and will share more once I get some!!! Merry Christmas All!!!! Hugs ♥ Here is Daisy with her new Family!!!! Dec 2013! "Peanut" with his new Family!!! Dec 2013 I wanted to state how important it is to keep your bun warm. When you bring home your rabbit realize that it has been living inside my house. I do not recommend keeping your bun outside in the winter.
If it is something that you are considering please wait til warmer weather so that he/she can make a slow transition to outdoor life to give it time to acclimate to the temperature. Again I don't recommend outdoor living for a bun, I truly feel they are happier and healthier living inside than out. Rabbits do not tolerate extreme weather temperatures so you need to make sure their housing stays warm and comfortable and protects them from elements. Rabbits do not hibernate, so if your rabbit looks limp or sleepy and isn’t really reacting to anything then you need to get him/her to a vet ASAP! If you have just got your rabbit and he/she has been kept indoors or is a baby, don’t put the rabbit outside until the weather get warmer (spring/summer), as the sharp change in weather can kill your rabbit. Hi everyone!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We spent out Thanksgiving home as a family and with the buns! Well we do have some updates since the last posts. Lets see... All the kits are doing great and growing so fast!!! Maple and Bailey's litters are turning 6 weeks on 12/07/2013 and we will start weaning them from their mommies that day. Sad day for the to leave mama but one wonderful step closer for the to be going home to their families. Vanellopes kits are 4 weeks old and growing fast as well. I can see my hubby counting down the days til Vanellope can be back to full time house bun and can visit us at night and sleep in the bed with us :) I have just finished Updating all of our Adult buns/ Juniors (Dec 2013) I love to write updates on all our buns so followers can see how they are doing also! They are just as important! Hehehe We also put up the Christmas tree and my 2 beautiful kids decorated it for me. It was fun watching my son put all the stuff on and my daughter taking the stuff off lol. I def. interested to see what the buns think of it this year. The only bun we have that has seen a tree is Maple. Well I think that is about it for now and any new update I will be sure to post. You can also follow us on facebook.
